Want to know how to prep for your very first class at District Yoga? Don’t worry - it’s not rocket science; but there is an art to coming to yoga class prepared, so at District Yoga we’ve put the following basics together, so you know what to expect.
Bring your water bottle. Come hydrated. Stay hydrated. Be hydrated! It’s important to drink enough fluids before, during and after your class.
Feeling a little hungry? Not a problem. Don’t come to class on a full stomach, but don’t attend on an empty one either. Eat a light snack around 30 minutes beforehand.
It’s your First Sweat and no one expects you to rock up in expensive, trendy yoga gear. In fact, we’re happier when you wear what you’re comfortable in. Less is more. Within reason!
Please come early for your first class by arriving 15 minutes before the scheduled start time. That way we can get to know you and get you settled in before the regulars get there. (Don’t worry - you’ll soon become one of them!)
Most importantly of all, this is your First Class and your First Sweat and your only goal is to Be Well, Have Fun and #getbent206.
